Emaar, a known name in real-estate, re-launched their "Dubai Mall" app with an exciting look & feel and many new features. The engagement, originally a pitch, was led by Alexa (Account Manager), Micheal (Experience Design) and Arjun (Development) from our Boston office.
The Dubai mall app allows visitors to navigate through the mall, look up latest offers and stay up to date with day to day happenings at the mall. One exciting new feature "Parking" allows users to find parking inside the mall or book a parking spot using the app. Users can also book an Uber or Careem to and from the mall using the app.
The app was delivered on extremely challenging timelines, from design to development it was delivered within 4 months. A squad of 4 designers, 6-7 Devs, 4 QAs, 1 SDM & 1 PM was put together to meet the challenge. The team put in long hours and weekends to ensure the delivery was made on the committed timelines. Arjun Bhatnagar led the Creative Chaos team, Emaar dev team & another partner team to deliver the project. During the first 10 days of December 2019, Creative Chaos team went to Dubai during the UAT phase to iron out any bugs and stabilize the app for the big launch on 20th December 2019 just before New Year celebration.
The associates involved in the project were Alexa Discepolo, Micheal Abbate, Arjun Bhatnagar, Dilawar Abbas, Farhan Sheikh, Syed Adeel Rizvi, Zeeshan Asghar, Muhammad Yasir, Naveed Noushad, Muhammad Bilal, Hammad Hanif, Raza Hussain, Anas Siddiqui, Abdullah Anis, Fahad Farooqui, Mohammad Ali Sultan, Shujaat Ali Khan, Shahrukh Malik, Muhammad Azeem Bhopal, Kiran Nawaz, Muhammad Mustafa Hameed and Jaza Zehra including some outsourced consultants as well.
The app is available both on App store & Play store.
